Vertedge USA Tour
October has certainly been a busy month for Vertedge. We were delighted this year to join our team ‘across the pond’ in Washington D.C at the annual members only conference hosted by The Synthetic Turf Council. The STC offers advise encompassing all manner of works associated with the installation of synthetic turf, from schools, colleges, homeowners and sports field owners. This advise includes not only type, cost and installation, but also the environmental impact and health and safety. In recent years, the use of nails to affix the turf has come into question following reports of the inclusion of carcinogens in many fixings. To this end, one of the lectures focused on the turf securing methods, and members were encouraged that these methods of affixing should not include staples, nails or anything embedded onto the perimeter. One of the senior board members had been advised of our product and was incredibly complimentary as to the design and application of the Vertedge product, and equally as complimentary that we had travelled from the UK to be part of this event.
As much as have been grateful for technology allowing us to conduct zoom meetings with our principal distributors from Texas, being in the company of Julie and Bernardo at the event made our visit even more special, our international team was complete! At the STC event, we were introduced to existing Vertedge customers by Julie and Bernardo, many of them had travelled from various parts of the USA. Thanks to these introductions, we had a great meeting with a major landscaping product distributor who loved the Vertedge product, and we hope that they will be offering our system to their clients in the very near future.
Our social media has skyrocketed recently with more than 32 million views of the lawn installation using the Vertedge system, and close to 100k followers over all social media platforms, thank you to all those that take the time to view and share our video. Our social media is also a great way to keep updated with any special offers, and further information regarding exhibitions and demonstrations.

What’s next ? We look forward to welcoming visitors to our stand G42 at Futurescape 2022 held at London’s Excel centre on 15th and 16th November. You’ll find us right by the centre aisle, please come and say hello and collect sample material and brochures.
